“ I love this place. We come here for regular dinners, quick birthday celebrations, order take out for family gatherings, etc. The food and the service are awesome. Tuna tower is one of my favorite dishes and it’s been the same great quality for years that I have been visiting this place. All sushi rolls are great. I stick to raw rolls, but my wife only orders cooked fish on her rolls and they are all fantastic and tasty. Highly recommend Kampai. ”
“ My “go to” local sushi spot for when I’m craving some sush. They’re always quick when ordering take out and the quality is usually very good. Some rolls are better than others, the classics are usually always great. Kampai roll, zombie roll, and the pad Thai are my faves. ”
“ I have been coming to Kampai almost as long as they’ve been here. Lol. A quaint hidden place that may be small but is large on food quality and service. I love the beautiful presentation of dishes and have never had a bad experience. The sushi is delicious! ”
“ Went for a very late night date & honestly, the food and service were amazing. We loved the hot green tea (plus free refills!!!) & we got: - steamed gyoza (must order) - rainbow supreme roll (my personal fave) - kampai roll (comes fried) - neptune roll (more spicy mayo than anything else) Loved that they were able to accommodate even if we arrived at 9:30 pm. Devoured our food & left happy! ”
“ Best shrimp fried rice ever! So much flavor! ”
“ This is very busy restaurant and for good cause : the food is amazing! Great local join if you're in South Miami or Kendal areas. We went on a Friday night and it was packed do expect a 5 to 10 min wait. The ambience is laid back, food is very fresh and very tasty, drinks are generous per serving. Going back again soon to try something else on the menu. ”
“ I went here for lunch with my son. The outside is not impressive! It looks very run down, dirty and dingy. The parking lot and outside of the building can definitely use an update and cleaning. BUT... the inside is clean. The servers are all very friendly and attentive. And most importantly, the food is fresh and delicious! The prices are also very reasonable. We split the fried gyoza as an appetizer. I got a salmon skin hand-roll and the dragon roll. My son got the salmon skin roll. Everything was presented very nicely and tasted great! Kampai is not close to my home. I was only in the area for a Dr appointment. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely go back. ”
“ I been coming to this place for over 10 years is very close to home. My favorite rolls are : Neptune, Mango Roll, Ninja Roll. Service: 10 out of 10 they are like family every time they see me. Place: Typical Japanese cozy restaurant One of my top sushi restaurants in south Miami. ”
